Saudi Arabia will provide funding for the construction of 100 permanent houses at Hambantota town and 60 houses at Hunuge Kanatta, Bataduwa, Galle for tsunami victims under an agreement signed with the Rehabilitation and Development Authority (RADA) at Sethsiripaya, Colombo in the presence of Housing and Construction Minister Ferial Ashraff recently, writes Daily News, Colombo 200606 at http://www.dailynews.lk/

Yusuf Rahman signed the agreement on behalf of the Saudi Arabian Government while Directress Shanthi Fernando signed on behalf of the RADA.

The Austrian Courier magazine will fund the construction of another 19 tsunami houses at Mesthiyagewatta, Bataduwa, Galle under another agreement signed with RADA on same day.
