President Mahinda Rajapaksa handed over the cheque to Ven. Haputale Pagnarama Thera last morning at the Presidential Secretariat, Colombo. In an earlier occasion, the Disaster Relief Trust Fund had donated furniture and requirements needed for the kitchen to families who received new houses built by the Government and Non-Governmental Organisations. People’s Bank Chairman W. Karunajeewa, General Manager Asoka de Silva, ITN Chairman Anura Siriwardena and Finance Ministry Secretary Dr. P. B. Jayasundara were also present.
